What happens when a Christian prays, serves God, and evangelizes, yet continues to live in fear, resentment, or a constant need to be right? The answer may lie in an often-overlooked aspect of the Bible: the Lev, the heart, according to Hebrew thought.
In Scripture, the heart is not merely the seat of emotions. It is the center of identity, the place where thoughts, convictions, decisions, and the direction of one's entire life are born.
We have turned faith into comfort. We have sought consolation without conversion,
peace without struggle,
blessing without sacrifice.
But the Gospel is not a vacation. 👉 It is a calling.
Twelve men, at Pentecost, received the fire of the Holy Spirit.
They were not perfect. They were not strong.
But they were available.
👉 And they set the world ablaze.
Today, God is still looking for men and women like them.
Not spectators.
Not consumers
There are two ways to inhabit the world: to seek out filth or to seek out beauty. The fly is drawn to what accuses. The bee seeks nectar and produces honey. Emmaus COM chooses to be a hive for the Kingdom: to welcome, heal, comfort, and spread mercy in the power of the Holy Spirit.
